Week 1- Ultimate Brownie/Cookie dessert

Yep, yep! I followed through with my challenge this week! I made a delicious dessert that my brother claims will be the reason he'll get diabetes. The bottom layer of this is cookie dough :) Yum!

You can use whatever cookie dough recipe you like- this is just my favorite! :)

Then you layer oreos all over the cookie dough! Double Stuf is a must! Its more "stuf" for the same price! :)

Then you make the brownie batter from a family sized box batter. (Family size is the 9 by 13 size) Pour it over the oreos!

Then you bake it at 350 for 40-50 minutes! :) YUM!

When it first comes out its warm and gooey (Try with vanilla ice cream when its like this!)

Pure deliciousness! And yes I'm making up my own words now!
You've gotta try this! It's super easy and once again extremely YUMMY! :)

Alright my other challenge that was more for myself is something I want to share about this week. I was reading the Peacegiver and I finished it last night. It's about Christ's atonement and as I read I had so many new insights, thoughts, and ideas occur to me. It's a must read. I will read it over and over again and I know that I will continue to get things out of it. It's not a normal church book. Just read it and you'll know what I mean! I want to bear my testimony on the atonement and that I know it's real. I know that I am nowhere near perfect and I need my Savior's help every day to try to become better. I know that I need a "new heart" every day. I know that He lived, bled, and died for me and everyone else. We are all part of Christ and He has the scars to prove it. I'm so grateful for His atoning sacrifice and that our Father allowed Hm to go through that pain and anguish for me, a sinner. I stand all amazed. I know this is true. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week by week challenge

I'm not really sure why I'm going to blog about this, but I think if I have it written down then I have to account for actually doing it or not. You're probably now wondering what in the world I'm talking about, well I recently began a new addiction- Pinterest. It has all the awesome DIY crafts, recipes, and other fun things to look at and day dream of doing. I made a decision that if I was going to keep my account I had to act on my dreams. Beginning this week I am going to try to do something new every week; it may be a craft, recipe, photography stuff, or things like that, and then I'm going to blog about it! This probably sounds silly, but as I read through this post I also decided to take some time every week to further my faith, testimony and love for the gospel. I'm not sure if I will be blogging about this challenge every week, but some weeks I may. Just keep holding me to it! Some times my projects may not turn out, but I'm trying to better myself and that means a lot to me. This week I know what I'm trying- I'm actually trying it today. It's a scrumptious recipe that involves some of my favorites- cookie dough, oreos, and brownies! Be watching for a post about how it all turned out soon!
Happy Monday! :)
